Building Pad Construction in Northeast Georgia
A level, compacted pad your foundation can count on.
Start on Solid Ground
A building pad that isn't level or isn't compacted causes cracked slabs, settling foundations and water problems you'll pay for years down the road. The pad is what everything else sits on, so it's worth doing right the first time.
Elite cuts, fills and compacts every pad with our own equipment — dozer, excavators and a tracked skid steer — and we run a roller to compact the fill in lifts. Then we check the grade so your home, shop, garage or barn starts on solid, level ground your builder can trust.
Because we own the equipment, we're not waiting on a rental or working around someone else's schedule. One crew builds the pad from bare dirt to finished grade, and you get a straight, free estimate before we start.
Pads We Build
Our Process
Clear & strip topsoil
We strip the topsoil and organic matter off the pad area so the pad sits on solid subsoil, not soft ground that will settle.
Cut & fill to grade
We cut the high spots and fill the low ones to bring the pad to the right elevation — level and on grade.
Compact in lifts
We compact the fill in lifts with a roller so the pad is dense and won't settle under your slab or foundation.
Final check & gravel
We check the grade one more time and lay gravel if the job calls for it, so the pad is ready for your builder.
